About Stimulate Your Soul

Where faith meets culture, and every conversation points to the goodness of God.

Our Mission

A lot of Christian writing pretends culture is a separate room from faith — something you visit on weekdays before going back to "real" devotion on Sunday. We don't buy that. Paul stood in front of an altar to an unknown god in Athens and started preaching from there. Christ took on flesh and walked into the actual world, not a religious version of it. We want to write the same way.

So Stimulate Your Soul covers the music people are actually listening to, the games they're actually playing, the books they're actually arguing about — and asks where the gospel is already at work in them, and where it's pushing back.

Why "Stimulate Your Soul"?

Most of what we consume — feeds, streams, autoplays — leaves the soul a little flatter than it found it. The name is a small protest against that. Paul told the Thessalonians not to quench the Spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:19), and Hebrews talks about stirring one another up to love and good works (Hebrews 10:24). That's the goal: writing that nudges you toward both.

We don't do surface-level Christianity. We ask hard questions, name the things other outlets won't, and try to celebrate the actual, complicated work of following Jesus right now — not a sanitized version of it.
