Back with intent, Tiana Khasi has dropped a single that challenges the depictions of women in history and literature on new single ‘They Call Me’.

The future soul single gives us some serious Erykah Badu vibes and is about reclaiming women’s stories.

On the single, Tiana said "'They Call Me' was written to challenge the problematic depictions of women in history and literature. It’s also a tribute to the fierce women whose rebellion, fire and strength inspires me, especially my Tinā ole Tinā (Nana). I wanted this song to to become an anthem for myself and other women to abandon shame, reclaim and redefine the names they have been given and be the authors of their own story".

Filled with lush vocals and stunning beats, Tiana’s new single will be featured off her upcoming EP 'Meghalaya' produced by Sampology, out March 29 through Soul Has No Tempo.
