D12 member Swifty McVay joins Obie Trice on his upcoming July Australia and Zealand Tour

American rapper and prominent member of the multi-platinum hip-hop supergroup D12 “Swifty McVay” is joining Obie Trice on his Australia and New Zealand tour this July to celebrate Trice’s album ‘Cheers’ 15th Year Anniversary and delight fans of the Shady Records era.

Swift, hails and currently resides in Detroit, Michigan and began making music as early back as 1995 before finding critical acclaim with The Dirty Dozen (D12) which rose to fame after Eminem achieved mainstream success. D12 and Swifty went on to produce the critically acclaimed albums Devils Night” in 2001 and “D12 World” in 2004 which saw worldwide commercial success and topped Australian charts. These albums spawned mega hits such as "Purple Pills", "My Band", "How Come”, "Sh*t on You" and “Fight Music” to name a few amidst plenty of controversy.

Not one to slow down Swift has appeared on all D12 albums, released 8 Solo albums, 4 Mixtapes and featured with some of the biggest names in the hip-hop industry such as “50 Cent” and “Obie Trice”. A man of many talents Swifty has also featured in 3 movies including the Longest Yard starring Adam Sandler well as appearing in several theatrical stage plays showing his true versatility as an artist.
