enigmatic singer/songwriter and self-producing artist Xavier Mayne is back with his brand new single ‘On The Outside’.

Produced by Xavier Mayne and Mitchel Cave, ‘On The Outside’ is an energetic and fierce showcase of a darker lyrical side that reflects the hardships young people face, and acknowledging that it's okay to not have everything figured out. The production runs a different race, remaining catchy and upbeat, providing a perfect launchpad for Xavier Mayne’s vocals to take centre stage. Well-written verses combined with the delivery of the chorus and a catchy hook leaves us with yet another great offering from the Cairns-based talent.

In Xavier’s own words he explains, "Sonically wanted to achieve a catchy/poppy track that had darker lyrical undertones. Narrative surrounds facing inner demons, accepting personal issues with the intention of change, and seeing things from a different perspective. Second, to that, it touches on the weird 'on and off' stages of being in a relationship." - Xavier Mayne
