Belgian RNB/Soul singer WAYI has returned with a second sultry new single ‘Temporary’.

With ‘Temporary,’ she strips down and opens up about her jealousy in a bittersweet and languid ballad written by WAYI herself and produced by James Lowland.

The track will feature on her upcoming debut EP ‘Love in Progress.’

The 25-year-old artist has already garnered critical acclaim with her debut single The Way I Am which has over 100K streams.

For her sophomore single Temporary, WAYI strips down and opens up about her jealousy, coming to terms with the final chapter of a relationship. « Everyone must have had a broken heart once in a lifetime. After you "heal" from it, you realise that life is too short; that there is actually worse things happening in the world and that you shouldn’t be crying over that person. Still... at times, you find yourself struggling between letting go and being jealous that he has moved on with someone else », she confesses about the bittersweet and languid ballad, which sees her silky vocals wrapped in swaying rhythms. Temporary is the second song off WAYI’s upcoming soul/rnb project, consisting in 5 tracks all written by herself and produced by James Lowland. Entitled Love in Progress, the debut EP is expected at the end of the summer. Written by: WAYI Produced by: James Lowland © Weird !s Good
