Hip Hop Duo Silqe & Ski Rize Release 'The Royal EP'
'The Royal EP' is the debut release from Silqe & Ski Rize a production duo formed by 2 close friends, rapper/songwriter & producer Silqe and producer/engineer Subject, A.K.A. Ski Rize.
The EP is a perfect blend of beats and melodies featuring 6 tracks offers everything, from grimy club bangers, to heartfelt storytelling and catchy singalong’s. In short, 'The Royal EP' is a solid body of work that really does have something for everyone.
The pair came to work together when forming OSP (Only Speak Positive), a rap group comprising Silqe, Esa Kwame and J-Blackz with Subject engineering and co-producing. OSP received radio exposure and had their first single chosen as 1Xtra's track of the week and working on that project together clearly laid the foundations for Silqe and Subject to form the Silqe x Ski Rize duo.
