TurboVCR & Pachara Team Up On New Synthwave R&B Crossover 'Sad Otoro'
Toronto based producer, TurboVCR is releasing his collaborative single ‘Sad Otoro’, featuring Pachara.
’Sad Otoro’ is an upbeat and lighthearted synthpop with dark undertones, making fun of today’s superficial society through foods. This tune will be Pachara’s 3rd release since YRC and Burning Slow.
The single is where an 80s throwback synth pop sound meets fun, satirical thoughts. Set in a family gathering, Pachara sings about attendees being forced to sacrifice their commitments to show up and sit through long, shallow conversations, while over-ordered fancy foods are left neglected on the table.
In a more lighthearted sense, the song also serves as a celebration of survival in this crumbling societal system, where workers are easily replaceable and our wellbeing is profoundly overlooked.
