Paigey Cakey Returns With Nutty P On The Noughties Inspired New Single ‘Drip Ice’

Since the wavy summer track ‘Loving you Ft. Geko’, Paigey Cakey has been busy making some serious moves behind the scenes.

She returns with the feel good new single ‘Drip Ice’. Dripping with a Missy Elliott-esque noughties swagger, the east Londoner delivers some trademark witty and playful bars over a hip hop beat courtesy of Nutty P.

With an official music video dropping on SBTV also on 9th November, the track marks a new beginning for Paigey as she aims to focus on a more upbeat and feel good output.

Widely known for her ferocious freestyles, she has experimented with several styles over the years and has built a solid fan base from her Mixtape/EP releases, sold out events and several acting credits in award winning films and TV shows such as ‘Attack the Block’ and ‘Waterloo Road’. Musically, she has worked with the likes of Stormzy, Chip, Lady Leshurr, Yungen, Geko and has also opened up for the likes of Lil Kim, Eve, Ciara, Migos, The Game, Jeremih and Azealia Banks. Despite being independent and unsigned she has an impressive following of 210K+ on Instagram, 100K+ subscribers on her YouTube channel.

Nutty P has been on the music scene for over 15 years now and his distinctive sound is influenced by his love of hip-hop, rap, R&B and electronic music. He started off by winning the Jump-Off competition and since then he has produced for many artists in the scene including Wretch 32, Krept & Konan, Professor Green, Ghetts and many more.
