UK rapper and experimental hip hop artist Otis Mensah releases a touching new single that highlights the battles with depression and anxiety.

On the single, Otis said, “The song touches on battles with depression and anxiety but depicts the hope that art provides as a means of therapy.”

With a bouncy, uptempo, alt-rap vibe but mellow, soul infused instrumental, 'Outside the Cave' sets the tone of the forthcoming EP 'Colours of it all' which is due to drop November 9th. This will be Otis’ first release as Poet Laureate.

You can hear the pain enslave my cadence but my faith is built bodacious; Outside the Cave. It's with great honour that I give to you my latest: bled from soul to page for all those days where outside the cave was too bright to face we venture out into open space that's open opportunity that's an open future that is us that is hope.
