Brooklyn-Based Trap/R&B Artist Jimi Noel Drops Stunning Visuals For 'Savage'
Brooklyn-based trap/R&B artist Jimi Noel released his new video for his latest single ‘Savage,’ from his upcoming EP ‘Stages.’
‘Savage’ is the first single off the record and sets the tone for what’s to come. Jimi Noel brings an unpredictable harmonic sound to the R&B track, showcasing his distinctive vocal range. The track tackles the complexities of relationships and loyalty.
Jimi says the single is “based on a moment in time where you've been wrongfully treated with disloyalty and infidelity and all of the emotional damage leaves you scarred.”
‘Savage’ is cinematic from the start with the title sequence of a box-office film. The screen’s flickers, flares, and sepia tones give the impression that the video is on an old school box TV set. From desert scenes to artistic shots of Jimi Noel in front of bright lights, the visual supplement to ‘Savage’ perfectly fits the sensual vibe of the track.
The visual was shot in the California desert by Jimi and Travis Chambers.
The single was co-produced by Jimi and his production partner, Lehkz. The track was mastered by KQuick (Fabulous, Bas), who as an artist himself is signed to J.Cole’s label Dreamville.
