Premiere: Nu-Soul Artist Emma Volard Releases A Silky New Single 'Respire'

Coming in fresh with no apologies, prepare to breathe in deeply with Nu-soul artist Emma Volard as she teams up with Melbourne producers Jake Amy and Moses Carr to bring you ‘Respire,’ which we are excited to premiere on SYS today.

Showcasing vulnerability, its silky, smooth and oozing with future soul. The single is an entrancing and contemplative rite-of-passage anthem for the artist.

On the single, Emma said, "“It just came about so organically…it’s about respiration, healing and recuperation…but also the whole thing is, it’s just me being honest about my life. It kind of grows from my childhood until now. So it’s raw, and vulnerable, I guess. I want it to feel like it’s innately human.”
