It’s been a busy year for Defron, as he sets to release his third single this year ‘Haiku’ (Poor Little Humpty) and we’re excited to premiere it ahead of it’s release tomorrow.

Produced by Entelechy, ‘Haiku’ has been taken from Defron’s mixtape ‘Maybe You’ll Be Famous When You’re Dead’ that covers the minutiae of his struggle with anxiety and depression.

Defron gets personal with this EP as it’s filled with his story of physical health setbacks including hit battle with cancer and his on going hearing condition that has seen him in and out of hospital since he was 5 years-old.

The single brings an anthemic hip-hop piece that comes with a mid-track switch-up transitioning from a rising epic story-telling track into a synth filled drop. Filled with icy lyricism and Defron’s quick witted bars ‘Haiku’ boasts a lengthy 5-minute duration.

With another single set for release from his mixtape in the coming weeks, there is no slowing down for this Melbourne rapper.
