Ottawa’s City Fidelia shares new single “Unfinished Business” featuring Bubi Beats, one half of powerhouse EDM duo Showtek.
The single boasts a hip hop summer groove with bubbly electronic flair, making it the ultimate solstice bop. Lyrically, City Fidelia writes an ode to his hometown of Ottawa. As he reflects on the blessing and the curse of coming from a small city, he looks towards the future with open eyes, acknowledging his duty to put on for his city.
Talking about his collaboration with Bubi, City Fidelia says, “Bubi reached out to me online regarding doing some collaborations with Showtek.
We meet in Toronto and ended up making a lot of records and Unfinished Business was one of them. I asked him to send me a production that was groovy because at the moment i was listening to Mtume's song "Juicy fruit" song over and over.”
