Rapper Chilo drops a fresh new single ‘Unleash the Beast’ produced by Montoya Beatz.

After working together on Eye N See's "Independence Day" album some years back, Chilo and Montoya Beats reconnect for "Unleash the Beast".

The single has 100 bars for the hip hop heads who love lyricism over quality boom bap. The heavy but feel-good single sees Chilo showcase his versatile talent.

Chilo, human, poet, mc, teaches Global History and Hip Hop lyricism in Brooklyn and has been writing, recording and performing Hip Hop music and poetry for over twenty years. He is a founding member of the award winning “El Grito de Poetas”, a premiere Latino spoken word poetry collective in NYC. A seasoned lyricist and passionate performer, Chilo has featured at hundreds of well-known venues and universities across the country such as the Newport Jazz Festival to the Apollo theater to Princeton, Yale and many more. He's recorded 11 Hip Hop albums and is currently working on 3 to come. He has been featured in the contemporary Latino poetry anthology “Me No Habla With Acento” and has also completed a solo spoken word poetry book entitled “Closed Doors and Opened Windows” in 2011. In 2015 he was featured on the Grammy winning album “The Offense of the Drum”, recorded by Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra
