Sydney soul powerhouses Tabi Gazele, Daniel March and Michael David are joining forces to bring one night of house grooves at the Foundry 616, Sydney on Tuesday 19th December 2017.

The trio will showcase their unique blend of soul, pop and indie original music on the evening, reminding us that soul is well and truely alive in Sydney.

The night promises mesmerising storytelling and world class vocals that take you outside this world for one spectacular moment.

Tabi Gazele

Tabi Gazele represents a new strain of ‘Irresistible Afro Pop’, comprising of pumping synth-bass and compelling moments of silky, groovened electric guitar. The roots of Tabi’s musical core are a blend of her Nigerian roots, mixed with a soulful pop sensibility and fuelled with a powerful stage presence. Tabi Gazele has spent the past two years working on her original music in both London -- where she has been building with industry heavyweights -- and Sydney -- where she featured on BLISS N ESO's latest album on the track "Slo Glo" with Lee Fields & The Expressions, as well as creating a tribute EP to late great South African singer, Brenda Fassie with her brother, Timomatic

Daniel March

Daniel March is one of those rare artists that has a transcendent quality and ability in every element of their music. Inspired by artists such as Michael Jackson, Tupac, prolific R&B producer Babyface and indie-folk musician Ben Harper, March is a self taught multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who has spent the past few years honing his craft in London, UK.
With songs that intertwine words and melodies into a beautifully textured and intricate fabric, Daniel March’s poetic sensitivity, mixed with his genre blending folk and soul infused music, displays a unique talent, which has seen him work worldwide with artists including Chantae Cann, Ms Murphy, Dionne Farris and more.

Michael David Music

Sydney based vocalist, guitarist & songwriter, Michael David is described by many as a distinctive and engaging performer. Michael's musical influences stem from soul music as the cornerstone of his genre bending sound, however, it's his unique tone and powerful vocal ability that effortlessly command attention. Michael has opened for internationally acclaimed soul musician Eric Benét, appeared as a finalist on TV’s ‘The Voice Australia’ and Australia's X-Factor's Top 20, but it’s his original music that leaves a mark on audiences.

“I saw Michael perform in Sydney recently, from the first song I was captivated by his effortless talent. He is an asset to Australian soul music and I'm excited to see what the future holds .” – M-Phazes (Kimbra, Eminem, Talib Kweli)
