Brisbane’s Urban Collective BLVCKBLOCX MusiQ Group Announces Australian Tour To Unify Local Artists’
Brisbane-based Urban Collective BLVCKBLOCX MusiQ Group (BBMG) has announced its first ever ‘BLOCXPVRTYs’ Australian Tour kicking off in Brisbane and Sydney this September.
The event will be filled with some killer Hip Hop, Soul, Electro and RNB tunes and aims to amp up the rest of Australia to get involved in the local movement by showcasing and promoting home-grown artists’.
BBMG consists of Founder Candyman and co-founders C.Maestro, Octavian Black and Featonby. Individually they have cemented their roots in the urban scene here in Australia, but together they are unstoppable.
On both nights, the audience will be treated to a special performance by Candyman, Masetro and Octavian Black with Featonby handling the visuals.
The collective takes prides in promoting local artists’ rather than what’s popular on the internet. With the intention to see all the dope artists have their chance to shine and help them reach the top. So expect some raw talent and a lot of community connection on the night.
Founder and rapper Candyman says, “We are bringing back the party vibe for all our people to come and get funky. End of the working week, just got paid on some get a babysitter shit. Just a place to let loose for a few hours and not have to worry about all the bullshit thats going on in the world. And also listen to the music from our locals and push the homegrown talent,”

Candyman Bio
Candyman is an Aussie born Maori producer/artist that also goes by the name Walter Mangu Jr. Candyman has produced music for and performed with the group Sweetz MusiQ (SMQ) on an R&B/Soul/Dub vibe when he was living in Blacktown, NSW. He is now Based in Brisbane/Logan QLD.
